Dremel has now introduced a multi-max multifunction tool for all your home repair and restoration needs. It was designed to give its competitors a run for their money. With a 1.5 amp motor, you know that it is powerful enough to cut through even a 1-1/4in. oak door jamb. When it comes to being tough, Dremel is certainly it. The power has different ranges, from 10,000 – 21,000 OPM (oscillations per minute). With this in mind, you know that the tool has a huge speed range to give you optimized control and versatility.
Dremel’s Multi-Max also has an ergonomic and compact design. You are provided with enhanced comfort and control. You are also given better access into tight or cramped areas. Even better, it has a separate on and off switch. You can finally maintain your speed setting even after the tool is shut off. It has an electronic feedback so that you are ensured of consistent speed even throughout the toughest of applications.
The tool also comes with a Quick Fit mechanism that allows for faster, easier use, and changes accessories. Try it and you’ll notice that it goes twice as a fast as other tools. The entire package includes a sanding pad with three pieces of tough sanding paper for wood, metal, and chipboard. The latter is a flexible scraper for tough removal of caulk and adhesive. You also get a 3inch wood and drywall half-round blade that is ideal for plastics. The 3 ¼ inch wood blade is perfect for wood, plastic, and drywall cutting.
